Podcasts are a new obsession for me. I’ve been into audiobooks for a while now, so I don’t know how its taken me so long to get into podcasts, but I am glad I found them.
It is cool to listen to different perspectives on life, get new tips on self-development, and laugh through some great storytelling.
There are too many podcasts out there to count. No matter your interests, there is something for everyone.
It took me some time to find podcasts that I am continually excited to listen to week after week. I have listened to some, that are way too corny for words.
A podcaster has to be genuine, relatable and fun for me to subscribe, and there are too many out there that I turn off two minutes in.
After I found these great podcasts, I knew I had to share them with you all. I know you will love as much as I do.
1. Mom Is In Control
Heather Chauvin is awesome! I mean seriously awesome! I recently found this Mom podcast and had to put it in my top 5. When you listen to this podcast you will gain practical information along with some laughs, and “hell yes!” moments. Heather is real and relatable, she gives insights on parenting, self-care and getting shit done. Check her out; she may turn out to be your new best friend, aside from me of course. 😉
2. Pursuit With Purpose
Melyssa Griffin is the Podcaster behind Pursuit with Purpose. She is an online entrepreneur who shares insights into what it takes to live a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Melyssa has a great personality and conducts some awesome interviews with interesting people. I often find myself googling the people, just to learn more about them.
3. Do It Scared
This podcast was started by Ruth Soukup. Ruth is a big believer in doing what you love, even when it gets scary. She is great at inspiring women to find their true passion in life and encouraging them to go for it! I have learned so much through her podcast and those she interviews. She is a perfect cheerleader for women who feel their comfort zone has taken over their life.
4. WISH Radio
Tera Warner is the podcaster behind Women’s International Summits for Health Radio. I love this podcast because it is chalk full of awesome women’s health information. Tera picks out fantastic people to interview. You will learn about all sorts of women’s topics, from pelvic health to how you can deal with difficult relationships.
5. Put Yourself First
Kat Horrocks is a women’s life coach based in the UK. First of all her English accent is adorable, second her content is super relevant to all women. She interviews all sorts of women from different backgrounds, Kat dives into topics from validation seeking, to ways to work toward your dream life.
I especially love her episodes about how “everyone is just winging it” and ways to deal with mom-guilt. Kat’s podcast is especially great because her episodes are anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour in length. So no matter how much time you have, there is an episode for you.
Podcasts might be new to you, but I am telling you, you gotta give them a try. We all have those days where the radio stations just aren’t cutting it. Give these podcasts a listen on days like that. You will gain a smile, an LOL, and even some inspiration.
